MP3 v. TVT

MP3.com allows consumers to download music to their computer, if they already own the CD on which the song originates. TVT has been granted partial summary judgment against MP3.com after the federal district court found that MP3.com had “willfully infringed” upon TVT’s copyrights. The case is currently in the damages phase.
